River County Cultural Trust
Provides grants for cultural, historic, arts
and heritage projects and events in Hood River County.
Meyer
Memorial Trust
This is one of the BEST grants for teachers.
Meyer Memorial Trust offers the Support for Teacher Initiatives to provides
grants to teachers in public and private elementary and secondary schools
in Oregon, for projects intended to stimulate more effective classroom
learning. Range is $2,000 to $6,000; application is streamlined for
busy teachers. Deadline is February 1.
National
Endowment for the Arts
These are the Big Guys. The NEA offers large grants
to educators and schools who want to incorporate more arts into their
programs. Most of these grants require collaboration with other schools,
districts or arts agencies.

The Oregon Arts Commission provides grant funding
opportunities to support the Arts in the state of Oregon through programs
which provide funding opportunities which include general operating
support, project-specific support, and support for artist's professional
