Who We Are
Columbia Gorge Arts in Education (CGAIE) is a non-profit
organization that provides arts education and programs to children and
adults in Hood River, Wasco and Sherman counties. We are one of 15 AIE
Programs statewide.
What We Do
We organize, sponsor and write grants for a number
of arts opportunities, including:
- Artist and writer residencies in the schools
- Staff development and teacher in-services, including assistance
with
CIM and CAM
- After school arts programs
- Teacher training workshops
- Community Education classes
- Public art installations
- Programs for at-risk students
- Community art projects, including cultural performances and festivals
